Barbara Ann Duff

Barbara Ann Duff, 83, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, August 14, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 7, 1942, in Columbus, OH. The daughter of Charles Merle and Mildred Alice (Kershaw) McMarrow. Barbara married the love of her life, James H. Duff on October 4, 1985, in Covington, KY.

She was very proud to own and operate 3 Sisters Catering with her two sisters for Years. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in Rockford, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Gahanna Historical Society. She loved crafts and putting together silk flower arrangements for the holidays. Barbara was known for being a master creator of comfort food.

She is loved and will be missed by her beloved husband of 41 years, James Duff; loving children, Rae Ann (Mark) Weiland, Barbara (Edwin) Harris, Tamala (George) Johnson, Ray (Juanita) Martin, Virginia Duff, Jim Duff, Jackie (Robby) White, Jennifer Duff; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Sandra Schafer, Jeri (Curtis) Carter, and Charles M. (Rose) McMarrow III; numerous nieces and nephews; her cherished dog Midge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Judith Eckelberry, and Cindy Gordon.

There will be a visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rockford, IL. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 P.M. officiated by Bishop Josh Allen.

The Visitation in West Jefferson, Ohio, will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on FRIDAY, August 21, 2026, at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OHIO, 43162. A visitation will also be held prior to the Funeral Service on SATURDAY, August 22, 2026, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 1070 Sheffield Boulevard, London, OH, 43140. The Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 A.M., presided by President John Lepard. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West Jefferson, OH.
