Betty Ann Howard

Betty Ann Howard (nee Ingles), age 91, the daughter of the late Willis and Esther (Miller) Ingles, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2022 at her home in Florence, KY.  She was a proud retired Navy wife and re-settled to many locations throughout the United States over the course of 20 years.  She was also a retired Key Punch Operator at Payton’s Inc and an active member of First Church of Christ in Burlington, KY where she served as a Greeter.  Betty was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed gardening and quilting.  She will be remembered as having an independent spirit, a strong work ethic and inexhaustible energy.  Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 40 years John A. Howard, USN Retired, and her siblings Wilma Anderson, Ruth Richendollar, Lee Mers, Bonnie Dunn and Carl Ingles.  Survivors include her children Greg A. (Karen) Howard and Krista A. (Ralph) Wilmhoff, her grandson Michael L. Wilmhoff and step-grandchildren Samuel A. (Gloria) Wilmhoff and Katie S.
