Carol S. McKenzie, of West Jefferson, Ohio, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her residence.
Carol was born on March 27, 1939, in Martha, Kentucky. The daughter of Dewey and Opal (Sparks) Barker. She retired from Eddie Bauer, and she was a member of Hayden Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer McKenzie; her father and mother Dewey and Opal (Sparks) Barker; and son-in-law.
Carol is survived by her children and stepchildren, Rodney (Bobbie) McKenzie, Vickie (Bill) Bowers, Paula Richard, Rick (Sue) McKenzie, Rocky (Sherry) McKenzie, and Jack (Connie) Barker. Carol has 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends on WEDNESDAY, April 15, 2026, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, and on THURSDAY, April 16, 2026, from 12:00pm-1:00pm, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162. Funeral Service will follow the visitation on THURSDAY, April 16, 2026, at 1:00pm. Carol will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
