Constance Doriene Peterman

Connie D Peterman, 92, of West Jefferson, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. 

Connie was a 1951 graduate of WJHS. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Lowell Peterman, and recently celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary. 

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Delphi and John King, sisters Bernice Strauss, Virginia Hamilton, and brother John King Jr., along with her sons, Jeffrey L. Peterman and Steven L. Peterman. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Lowell, daughter Cathy, son Jimmy (Diane) Peterman, and daughter-in-law, Pamela Peterman. Grandchildren Ryan Finigan, Joe, and Josh Peterman, Jennifer (Peterman) Houghtaling, and Shawn Peterman. Great-grandchildren, Jackson and Waylon Peterman, Brianna, Kameron, and Isaiah Peterman, and sister Patty Forrest. 

As per her wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral. A private graveside service for the family will be held.
