David L. McAninch

David L. McAninch, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born May 30, 1928 to the late Hubert C. and Ana Belle (Valentine) McAninch. David was a proud Navy Veteran, a member of the Warren Ave. Church of Nazarene, an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Hubert C. and Ana Belle McAninch; wife: Wilma McAninch; sister: Helen Correa; son: Roy Neil; and daughter: Sharon Pennell.

David is survived by his children: Myrna (Monty) Lobb, Diane Neil, Brenda (Steve) Wilson, Rod (Judy) Neil, Kim Hartley, and David (Darci) McAninch; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

The family will welcome friends to a Celebration of Life Gathering, Saturday, August 26, 2023, from Noon – 3:00 P.M. at the West Jefferson V.F.W. Post 7005, 1 Veterans Way, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Galloway Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
