David E Winters

David E. Winters, age 84, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Dave was well known and loved by everyone in the community. Dave was a proud Navy Veteran and a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W Post 7003, he loved taking yearly trips to Florida with his wife Linda, the children in the community knew him as Santa, he enjoyed riding his motorcycles, hunting and being outdoors, you could always count on him making you laugh with his orneriness. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ferol and Hazel Winters, brothers: Vernon Winters and Bud Winters, and sister: June Handcock. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (Frasher) Winters of 55 Years, children: Rebecca (Bruce) Baker, David (Maria) Winters Jr., Katrina Winters, and Pam (Coy) Adams, grandchildren: Kenzie (Walid) Abdeljabbar, Kirstin Winters, Debra Koepka, Daniel Winters, Samantha Winters, Sharon Gonzalez, Brandy Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Derek Stiles, Brandon Winters, and Coy Lee Adams, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of friends all who loved him and will miss him deeply. The family will hold a Celebration of Life get-together at the Oak Grove Tavern on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at 1:00 PM. The RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162, assisted the Winters family.
