She is also survived by her mother Vicki, sister Carrie Varian, “furbaby” Annie, numerous step and half siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Debbie was the most amazing wife, mother, and mawmaw. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband and sons. She found her greatest joy being a mawmaw carrying the title of “Best Mawmaw ever” and mom to her sons. She also found joy caring for all of her son’s friends and babysitting her nieces and nephews. She found peace in helping others in any way possible and in giving everything of herself to others. She was loved and cherished by so many. She was an avid music lover attending many concerts and always driving to any band event for both of her sons. Debbie was also the life of the party and loved hosting multiple, memorable parties every year. She couldn’t get enough of her swimming pool, especially swimming with her grandkids, or swinging in the hammock. She also loved watching all the hummingbirds outside at her many hummingbird feeders and working in her flowerbeds and garden. She truly loved being outside enjoying life. She will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren, but especially by her husband Byron to whom she was married for 43 loving years.. They were truly inseparable. She was the the rock of the family & will be desperately missed.
Per Debbie’s wishes, she will be cremated. We will be having a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Visitation will be from 3pm-4pm followed by the service at 4pm. It will be officiated by Pastor Tim Rash. Visitation and service will all be held at Lilly Chapel Methodist Church, 8350 Lilly Chapel-Georgesville Rd. London, Ohio 43140 followed by dinner provided by the church. In lieu of flowers we ask you to donate to the American Lung Association in her name and honor.
