Deborah Skeldon

Deborah (Debbie) Skeldon 62, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, at the OSU Ross Heart Hospital after a short illness. Debbie was born July 23,1961 to James and Jenny (Hall) Whitt.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Whitt.

Debbie served in Public Service for 30 years as a Dispatcher for police & fire for the City of Hilliard Police & Norwich Township Fire and the West Jefferson Police Department, until retiring in 2020.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 32 years Scott Skeldon, her Children, Danielle (Ed) Chapman, Meghan Skeldon; grandchildren: Morgan Skeldon, Landen Skeldon, Logan Chapman, Olivia Chapman, and Sophia Chapman; great-granddaughter: Hazel Skeldon; mother Jenny Whitt; Sister Cyndi (Mark) Mucha; special Aunt Linda Hall, several nieces and nephews. Debbie loved her family, especially all of her grandchildren, and her new great-granddaughter

It was Debbie’s wish that no public Funeral or visitation be held. A private family service will be held at the family’s time of choice.
