Francis M. Ferrell

Francis M. Ferrell (80), of West Jefferson, OH passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  Francis was born in Manchester, KY on April 9, 1942 to Walter and Amanda Hibbert.  She is survived by her children, Bobbie (Rod) McKenzie, Dawn Ruby, Tina Smith, Lisa Smith and Billy Smith; her grandchildren, Kayla, Shawn, Nicky, Tasha, Jim, Amber, Tabitha, Britney, Arianna, Josh, Marleena, Mitchell and David; her great grandchildren, Haley, Savannah, Peyton, Briahana and Kinzie along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Francis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Ferrell and  7 brothers and sisters.

Francis cared for people.  This was reflected in her vocational commitment as a Patient Services Associate at the Ohio State University Hospital and other healthcare organizations.  She enjoyed  crocheting, playing Euchre and keeping up with television crime series shows.

The family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral for Francis at the Rader McDonald Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main St. in West Jefferson, OH on Thursday, March 16, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and a service will follow at 12:00 PM.  Following the service, Francis will be laid to rest at the Deer Creek Township Cemetery in Lafayette.
