Genelle P. Armstrong

Genelle P. Armstrong, 73, from Pickerington, Ohio, born May 16, 1951 in Lima, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025 at Crowne Pointe Care Center in Dublin, Ohio. Genelle graduated High school from Waynesfield-Goshen in 1969 and attended Olivet University before starting her communications career in 1975. Meeting many wonderful friends and coworkers in her employment at Coax Cable 1975-1982, Ohio Health 1982-2014, and TS Tech 2014-2021, she retired at the age of 70. Genelle was a devoted Columbus Blue Jackets fan and loved her Ford Mustangs, owning 7 in the last 28 years. Her final being a 2016 Race Red Convertible California Special GT was her favorite and she had the honor of leading the parade while driving Grand Marshall in the Pickerington Labor Day Parade since 2021. Genelle also enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Clellah Sproul, Brother Terry Sproul, and Nephew David Sproul.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 52 years, Jack Armstrong. Daughter Jennifer Sturgill (Robert), Son Jonathan Armstrong (Sheri) and 2 granddaughters. Kelsey Sturgill and Scarlet Armstrong. She is also survived by her sister Melanie Sproul and niece Melita, and Sister-in-Law Carole Sproul and Nephew Scott. Best friend of 30 years Jane Samusson and numerous other family, friends, and co-workers.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to any cancer research organization of your choosing.
