Geraldine "Jerri" Castle

Geraldine "Jerri" Castle, age 84, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, peacefully at home with her husband Almond by her side, holding her hand. She was born on September 9, 1939, in Johnson County, KY. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joner and Imogene Sadler, and her Grandmother Zelda Castle. 

Left to cherish her memory besides her husband Almond of 65 Years are her children: Kimberly (Brad) Preston, and Kevin (Rhonda) Castle; her grandchildren Josh (Megan) Preston, Andrew (Margaret) Preston, Madison (Luke) Duncan; great-grandchildren, Anna Preston, Oliver Preston, Sadie Preston, Rosie Preston, Emma Preston, and Grayson Duncan; her siblings, Jack (Marlynn) Saddler, Sandra Kay (Arnold) Booth, Jim (Sherry) Saddler, and Terry (Danny) Fry; numerous nieces, and nephews whom she loved and was so proud of. She will also be missed by her wonderful caregivers who were her granddaughter Madison, and her former sister-in-law Linda Pelphrey. These two along with the nurses and paramedics in our family were always there for her. 

We the family want to thank Ohio Health Hospice as well as the medical people in the family who took excellent care of her these past few months. 

The family will receive friends on THURSDAY, February 15, 2024, from 10:00am-12:00 NOON where Funeral Services will immediately be following at NOON at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
