Glenn Large, age 86, of London, Ohio, passed away at home with his loved ones at his side. Glenn enjoyed playing basketball and was in the Simmental Cattle Association. The Simmental Cattle Association wrote an article about Glenn, and it was the highlight of his farming career when they published it in their magazine. He loved farming at the farm in New Holland from the time he was little to his current farm on Taylor Blair. Glenn loved animals from his hundred head of beef cattle to Rhea's. He would gather the eggs when they were laid, and put the date on the eggshell of when they were supposed to hatch. If they didn't hatch, he would check them with a light and then crack the egg and pull their head out of the egg. he even gave them mouth to beak if they weren't breathing. His last big adventure was raising Zebu Cattle.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Rose Marie (Picklesimer) Large; son: Glenn D. Large, Jr.; parents Chester and Elsie Mae Large; brother Chet Large, Jr., and wife Geraldine (Shonkwilere) Large; sister: Anna Mae (Large) Allen, and her husband Meriell Allen, Jr.; sister: Ruth (Large) Elliot and brother-in-law Dallas Elliot; brother-in-law Richard Ankrom; sister: Mary Alice (Large) Buskirk; brother: Ernest Eugene Large; and brother-in-law Ronnie Gool.
