Grace Stage

Grace Stage, age 90, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Frank and Minnie Haag, Grace was a graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1953. She married the love of her life, Fred Stage, and they were married 41 years before his passing in 1995. In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by her youngest son, Shannon Stage, and her siblings Frank and Mary Haag, Jr., Harley and Sarabelle Haag, Rosemary and Russ Walls, Doris Jean and Ned Willison, and her twin brother Gary and Doris Haag.

Grace is survived by her sister Janet Strawser, her children: Kelly Scott, Fred Stage, Jr., Andy (Linda) Stage, Bryan (Julie) Stage, and Todd (Angie) Stage, her grandchildren: Tim (Nan) Scott, Zach (Lauren) Scott, Morgan (Eric) Tjoland, Matt (Jen) Stage, Ashley (Ben) Stroup, Emily (Ryan) Warner, Trevor (Emily) Stage, Sam Stage, Evan Stage, Dylan (Karis) Stage, Chloe (Hayden) Hoover, and Jackson Stage, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her special friends Sharon Jordan, Bev Vorhauer, Patty Beery, and Carol Ferguson.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. TUESDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162 (614)-879-9222 where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2026 with Pastor Josh Zimmerman, officiating. Grace will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Fred at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
