Joan DeBord

Joan (Underhill) DeBord, age 89, of London, Ohio, went to Heaven while at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. She was born in Hilliards, Ohio to the late Thomas and Jennie (Smith) Underhill in 1935. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Becky DeBord, her grandson Chad Culp, son-in-law Reber Jay Hamilton, sister Mary Sheilds, brothers Thomas, Charles, James and John Underhill, and the father of her children Freddie G. DeBord. Joan is survived by her loving children: Doris Hamilton, John (Beth) DeBord, Donald (Rose) DeBord and Lora (Bill) Long, her grandchildren: David Culp, Joel Culp, John Thomas (Stephanie) DeBord, Candy Nelson, Shawn DeBord, Aaron DeBord, Newt (Jonathan) Long, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A special “Thank You” to the staff of ViaQuest Hospice for your caring, kindnesses and professionalism. 

Family will welcome friends from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. TUESDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where her Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2024 with Reverend Mike Underhill, officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
