Joel Hall, Jr.

Joel Hall, Jr., age 49, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2024.   Born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joel and Betty Hall, Joel was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1994 and attended Tolles Technical Center.  A Jack-of-All-Trades, Joel was an electrician by trade and for the last ten years worked for Capital Fire Protection.  He loved Ohio State football, the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR.   He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, being in the woods and loved nature.  He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family on his property in Hocking County.  In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by his father-in-law Larry E. Ball.   He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 28 years, Tonya Hall, his children Valerie (Charles) Moser and Joey Hall, his adored grandson Duffy Moser, mother-in-law Brenda Ball, sisters Janice (Nathan) Greene and Jennifer Hall, sisters-in-law Tina (Ron) Whitaker and Tami West, his nieces and nephews Mackenleigh, Christian, Chloe and Caleb Greene, Kaleigh Johnston, Alli (Shayne) Yamamoto, Haley Whitaker and Christian West, the many other loving members of the Hall, Herman and Ball Families, and his many wonderful friends and co-workers at Capital Fire Protection.

Family will receive friends from 2:00p.m.-5:00p.m. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2024 at RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 5:00p.m. FRIDAY.
