John David Chenault, Sr.

John David Chenault, Sr., age 63, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. John graduated from West Jefferson High School, Class of 1980, and graduated from Hocking College, receiving a degree in Computer Engineering. He enjoyed coaching youth league sports in West Jefferson, he loved music, and karaoke.

He is preceded in death by his parents William G, and June Ann Chenault, and sisters Leanne Gourley, and Dona Lindsey.

John is survived by his sons: John David Chenault, Jr., Ezechail Blaine Chenault, and Samuel Andrew Chenault; brothers: Bill Chenault, and Paul Chenault; grandchildren: Dean Michael Curry, Dillon Hames Curry, Kaidan Andrew Chenault, and Talen Blaine Chenault. 

Following John's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services.
