John Smalley

John Wesley Smalley, age 87, passed away peacefully September 2, 2021 in his Okeechobee, FL home surrounded by his wife and daughters. John was born February 26, 1934 in Hardin, OH to the late Horace and Mildred Smalley. He served in the United States Naval Reserves, was an avid horse lover, showing and training horses over the years, loved his family and friends and attended the Church in the Woods at Freedom Ranch in Okeechobee.  John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edith; daughters, Dani (Rick) Graumlich, Marci (Paul) White, and Cyndi (Kevin) Haydocy; stepchildren, Jim Miller (Marsha), Gary Miller (deceased)(Nuuanu) , Share Porri, Sheila Fletcher (George) and Ron Miller (Debbie); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  John’s Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on FRIDAY, September 10, 2021 at Hampton Cemetery, 225 Cemetery Road, West Jefferson, OH  43162.  The Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, Oh  43162 (614)-879-9222 assisted the family.  Please visit www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com to share your favorite memories of John and to send your condolences to his family.
