Judith E. “Judy” Adams, age 81, of Woodstock, Ohio, passed away and joined her loved ones in Heaven on Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born in West Jefferson, Ohio to the late Rosella and Ray Gartin. She worked at Honda of America and retired in 2001. Earlier, she worked for twelve years at Ranco. Judy was dedicated to her family, taking care of her late husband Harold from 2001 until his death in 2008. She was a committed wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved being with her family, especially her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She loved playing bingo, and waited patiently for the invitation to appear on Cash Explosion-an invitation that never came!
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Harold Adams, her parents Rosella and Ray Gartin, brother Roger Gartin, granddaughter Ashley Adams, niece Lisa Newman, and her beloved dog Suzie.
She is survived by her children: Harold (Sharon) Adams, Bob (Cindy) Adams, and Doug (Michelle) Adams; her grandchildren: Holli Tackett, Kristin Adams, Devin Adams, Danielle (Matt) Sanders, Ron “Bubba” Cain, and Tyson Adams; great-grandchildren: Jonny, Caroline, Dean, Sabrina, Patrick, Landon, Lainey, Kage, and Cecilia; niece Sue Gartin, nephew Roger “Bub” Gartin, and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. THURSDAY. Pastors Jonathan Purdy and Jack Purdy will officiate. Judy will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Harold at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
