Libby G. Corney

Libby G. Corney, age 69, from Galloway, formerly of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. She graduated from West Jefferson High School Class of 1973. After graduation Libby worked at Sears Distribution and later retired from Vanners.  Libby was a devoted fan of the Rolling Stones and attended numerous concerts, she loved Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, and family gatherings for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and everyone’s birthday’s.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry E. and Freda M. (Davis) Corney; brother, Brian Corney; and sister-in-law, Diane (Byerly) Corney.

Libby is survived by her loving husband Randy Fugate; brother, Michael (Connie) Corney; niece, Brenda (Mac) Macalou; nephews, Chad Corney, and Levi (Amanda) Corney; great-nieces and nephews, Marley, Freda, and Dee Dee Macalou, Ashton and Montana Corney; mother-in-law Mary Fugate and numerous other Fugate family members, cousins and close friends who will all miss her deeply.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
