Loretta V. Horne

Loretta V. Horne, age 88, Of West Jefferson, OH, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. Loretta graduated from McDowell High School in Floyd County, KY, she was a graduate of Caney Jr. College and went on to further her education and became a proud graduate of The Ohio State University receiving her degree in Childhood Education. 

She is preceded in death by her parents: Dennis Arthur and Rosa Nell Vance; her loving husband: Franklin D. R. Horne; son Darius Todd Horne; granddaughter: Amanda Marie Runyon; and siblings: 3 brothers and 3 sisters. 

Loretta is survived by her daughter: Delora (Timothy) Klugh; siblings: 3 brothers and 2 sisters; grandchildren: Franklin T. Horne (Nikki), Vanessa B. Horne (Eddie), T. Shawn Klugh II (Julia); great-grandchildren: Kaitlin Keseg, Stella Horne, Sydney, and Scarlett; daughter-in-law: Gwen (Jerry) Pence; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Family will receive friends on FRIDAY, November 1, 2024, from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm, with Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, OH, 43162. Loretta will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
