Megan E. ( Bailey ) Barrett passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home of nearly 20 years in Lilly Chapel, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Megan was born in Concord, Hampshire. She was born en route to the hospital. While later in Ohio, she grew into a warm and lively woman who loved arts and crafts, sewing, and hiking. She was a Boy Scout Den Mother for several years, sharing her gifts of teaching, planning, and organization to her boys and the community. She often donated her beautiful hair to Locks of Love.
Megan is survived by her husband Shawn, their two sons Wyatt and Cole, who were her whole world. Her mother, Sheree Alt Ziemba, father James Bailey, brother Jason (Becky) Melchiorre, sister Rachel (Zack) Lassiter, and Aunt Kay McKnight. In-Laws Robert (Rena) Barrett, brother-in-law Shain Barrett, sister-in-law Blair Snider, grandmother Karen Frick, Uncle Chris Weigandt, and many additional Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
