Melanie Sue Maxwell

Melanie Sue Maxwell, 74, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home, Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born August 21, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1969.

Melanie was preceded in death by her father Don Garnett and brother Mark Garnett. She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Rudolph Kolesser; her mother, Carol (Cheeseman) Garnett; daughter Abby (Lynch) Burke; granddaughters Bailey and Katie Burke; and many other beloved family and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be held MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 488 W Main St, West Jefferson Ohio 43162.

She was an adored Mama and Grammy, who will be greatly missed.
