Michael D. Chenos

Michael D.  Chenos, age 73, of Delaware, Ohio, a native of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to Heaven peacefully to be with his beloved wife Carol on Monday, March 28, 2022 surrounded by his family.  Born in West Jefferson, Mike was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1967.  He was a proud United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam.  He married Carol Clark in 1969 and together they raised their family in West Jefferson.  Mike was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Mike and Carol moved to Delaware in 1998.  He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Jewel Chenos, his beloved wife Carol, sister-in-law Pam Chenos and father-in-law Richard Clark.  Mike is survived by his children: Nicole (David) Nitzsche and Michael J. (Melissa) Chenos, his grandchildren: Tasha (Jordan) Reeves, Juliette (Ben) Tanner, Allyson Nitzsche, Jacob NItzsche, Olivia (Luke) Throckmorton, Charlotte Nitzsche, Elijah Nitzsche and Emmaline Nitzsche; great-grandchildren: Xander Reeves, Isaac Reeves and Nehemiah Tanner; brothers: Rodney Chenos and Steve (Paula) Chenos, and their families; and many cousins and friends.  Family will receive friends from 9:00a.m. THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2022 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 10:00a.m. THIS SATURDAY.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.  AT THE REQUEST OF MIKE AND HIS FAMILY CASUAL DRESS IS REQUESTED, PLEASE.  In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
