Mildred Marthaleen Goyak

Mildred Marthaleen Goyak (Maiden-Syx), age 98, passed away Sunday evening, January 27, 2019, at Kobacker House. She was born December 23, 1920, in Hamley Run, Ohio a daughter of the late Edward Syx and Dolly Leona Syx. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Matt Goyak; two sons, Mathew Edward Goyak and Johnny Goyak. Grandson Kenneth Ned Hornyak and Johnny Ray Wilson, Jr. and Sarah Parisi. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mildred is survived by her five grandchildren: Julie Wilson, Jane McNabb/Spouse Don McNabb, Mary Goyak, Tammy Goyak, Holly McVey; and many great grandchildren: Pamela, Johnny, Brandon, Samantha, Chris, Brittany, Maggie, Alex, Annie, Douggie, Timmy, Amanda and great great grandchildren: Hope, Maliyah, Trystyan, Ellie, Kelly and Allyson. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
