Mollie Barker Burch

Mollie Barker Burch, age 99, passed away peacefully January 24, 2020, at Arbors West, in West Jefferson, Ohio. Born in Rigley Kentucky on February 18, 1920. She is preceded in death by husband Virgil Barker, and husband John Burch, and son Wendell Barker. She was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. She was a cook in the Southwestern School District when they really cooked good food for the kids. She also worked as John W. Galbreath personal maid for him and his wife for many years. Mollie was a very religious person. She felt bad when she was unable to go to church because of her illness. She loved her vegetable and flower gardens, cooking and made wonderful pies and apple dumplings. She had a passion for sewing and made lots of quilts. Mollie was a very happy person, loved spending time with her family. She is survived by daughter: Betty (Wayne), sons: David (Joey), and Mike (Anne), Daughter-in-law Sue, grandchildren: David, Terri, Lois, Lori, Rex, Emily, Amber, Justin, and Josh, great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ellen, Paxton, Caylee, Ryder, Heather, Hunter, McKenzie, Sara, Natalie, Karyn, Janet, Skyler, and Kole, great-great-grandchildren: Hazel and Hayley. She was a very special person who will be sadly missed by all who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends Wednesday 29, 2020, at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM with Funeral Services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, Ohio.
