Nathaniel Edward Hunter, 29, of West Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Nathan was an avid outdoorsman. Anything to do outside, he loved. Hunting, fishing, walking trails, kayaking, camping, anything. He loved music. He would go to any concert he could and collected shirts from every show. He loved taking his dog Sven everywhere, two peas in a pod. The bond he has with his younger cousins was amazing.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charlotte Ruth Capehart, Ida Ellen Osborne, and Peggy Maggard. Sister Roxy.
Nathan is survived by his Mom: Kimberly Hunter; Dads: Steven Zimmerman (Jenna), and Joshua Flynn (Monica); Mimi Debi Hunter, and Papaw Edward Hunter; Grinkle Linda Zimmerman; Grandmother: Keitha Maggard Jent; sisters: Madison Hunter-Zimmerman, Amber Phillips (Dakota) step-sisters Shania and Kelsey; Brother Joe Flynn; Aunt Ashley Martin (Joe), Cousins Summerlyn, Charlee, Arielle, Gunner, and Paislee.
