Patricia Alice Rose Fenton, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the Cotter House Dementia Care residence in Worthington, Ohio, surrounded by her family.
Born in Bell, California and a lifelong resident of London/West Jefferson, Ohio, Patricia was the daughter of Alfred T. Moberly and Celestine Louise Moberly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Moberly, and is survived by Mike’s wife, Laura, who remains a cherished part of the family.
Patricia is survived by her two sons: Jerry Scott Fenton (wife, Summer) and their daughter, Ashley and Perry James Fenton (Jennifer Holland).
Patricia was blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy throughout her life. Patricia’s grandchildren include: Ashley B. Fenton, Nathan J. Fenton (Okairy), and Nicole Meade (James).
Her great-grandchildren include: Odin, Talia, and Luca (children of Nathan and Okairy) and James Jr., Jaden, and Jordyn (children of Nicole and James).
She is also survived by Jennifer’s daughter, Elizabeth Holland. In addition, she is further survived by her niece and nephews: Julie Moberly, Johnny Moberly, and Daren Moberly (children of Ann and Mike Moberly), of California.
Pat enjoyed traveling and visiting family in California and Minnesota, as well as spending time with friends, several of whom she has known since her childhood school days. Pat devoted more than 20 years to the Simmons Mattress Company and cherished the daily companionship of her beloved dachshunds, Josie, and Pumpkin. Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the devotion she showed to those she loved. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Rader‑McDonald‑Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, 4316. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
