Patricia Shay

Patricia Shay, 58, of Hilliard, passed away peacefully on August 14 at OSU Hospice after a five-year battle with cancer.

The daughter of the late John and Kathleen Coz, she was born on January 4, 1968, in Ravenna, Ohio.

She was a graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio, and The Ohio State University College of Physical Therapy. She practiced physical therapy for 36 years at OhioHealth and Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinic.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erin; her parents, John and Kathleen Coz; her sister, Mary; her brother, Johnny; her grandmother, Mary Bronson; and her uncle, Robert Bronson.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Sean, and her cherished children, Liam, Meghan, and Aidan.

Trish loved the outdoors, the beach, spending time with family and friends, her career, everything Irish, vacations, and watching beautiful sunsets.

A Funeral Mass will be held WEDNESDAY, August 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162.
