Penny Aileen Bumgardner

Penny Aileen Bumgardner, 80, died November 9, 2021, of surgery complications.  Born June 22, 1941, she was the middle child to Ralph and Helen (Pat) Campbell. She graduated from Logan High School and married her sweetheart Ronnie Bumgardner soon after.  Penny loved her family more than anything and looked forward to any occasion where they could be together to share laughter, love, and good food. Penny was a member of the West Jefferson United Methodist Church for over 40 years and got great joy singing in the choir and directing the Alleluia Ringers.  Penny was also a member and loved her Shawl Sisters. The time of faith and fellowship spent with them was so special to her.

Penny is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie, her parents, her sister Margaret Denune and her in-laws John and Eunice Bumgardner.

Penny is survived by her children Molly (Tim) Stone, John (Deanna) Bumgardner, her grandchildren and lights of her life Travis, Shane and Maggie Bumgardner, Adam (Amanda) Stone, great-granddaughter Emma Gabriel, sister Beverly Cottrill, brother-in-law Mark Bumgardner, many nieces and nephews, and special friends.

The family will welcome friends for Visitation on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the West Jefferson United Methodist Church, 36 S. Center Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon, Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 12:00 Noon. Burial at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.
