On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, Robert Jenkins, loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home at age 76.
Robert, was born on June 5, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Minta Metzger and James Jenkins. As a boy he moved around a lot with his mother and brother before he settled in Columbus. He had a passion for music, playing instruments, and passing down this passion to his family, especially to his grandchildren. He was obsessed with collecting old coins, watching old westerns and Fox News, and being a die-hard fan of Elvis, John Wayne, and most importantly THE Ohio State Buckeyes.
Robert was preceded in death by his father James, and his mother Minta, his brother Riley Tyrone Jenkins, his son-in-law Jeffrey Latoski, and most cherished, the mother of his children and previous wife Sharon Toops.
