Ronald DeBord

Ronald Gene DeBord, age 64 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Born and raised on Darby Dan Farm, Ron was a graduate of Westland High School Class of 1977. He was employed with Big Lots, and an avid morrell mushroom hunter.

He is preceded in death by his father Freddie; and Ron’s loving wife Rebbecca who passed away in 2019.

Ron is survived by his mother Joan DeBord; daughter Candie Nelson, and son’s Shawn DeBord, and Aaron DeBord; siblings Doris Hamilton, John (Beth) DeBord, Don (Rose) DeBord, and Lora (Bill) Long; grandchildren Tyler Nelson, Steven DeBord, Samantha Nelson, Aaron Ewane, and Ava DeBord; many loving relatives, friends, and co-workers.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11-12 Noon, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162, there will be no formal service following the visitation.
