Ronald D. Poplin

Ronald D. Poplin, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 5, 1950, in Springfield, Ohio, and lived a life marked by devotion to those he loved and by the quiet pleasures that brought him joy.

Ronald found happiness in woodworking and reading, pursuits that reflected both his thoughtful nature and the care he brought to life. Whether working with his hands or spending time with a good book, he appreciated the simple and meaningful moments that made a home and a family feel complete.

Above all, Ronald will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and family man. He shared 46 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Deborah Poplin, a lasting bond that stood at the center of his life. He is also survived by his sons, Ryan Poplin and Justin Poplin, as well as his brother, Wayne, and his sister, Vicky. The love of his family surrounded him in life and remained with him in his final moments, a reflection of the deep connections he cherished.

Ronald was preceded in death by many family members, whose memories remained part of the story of his life.

Following Ronald’s wishes, there will be no formal services.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
