Steven Cochrun

Steven Edward Cochrun, age 53, of West Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Steven was born in London, Ohio on March 14, 1968, to Gareth Cochrun and Shirley Steele. He graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1986 with honors. He went on to graduate with a Bachelors's in Architecture and a Masters's in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. After graduating, he was employed by the City of Zanesville and the City of Columbus as a city planner.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sister, Leslie (Matt) Werner, and two nephews, Quinten and Tobin, of Wauconda, Illinois.

Steven was an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Columbus Crew, and Columbus Blue Jackets. He also adored his cats and rescued several strays over the years. He was a very caring person and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
