Willia Dean Morrison

Willia Dean Morrison, age 77, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was born September 23, 1945, to the late Frank Willard and Louise (Evans) Grubbs.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank Willard and Louise (Evans) Grubbs; sister, Patsy (Bill) Berkley; and grandchildren, Devin Beasley, and Miranda Williams.

On the weekends you could find Willia out with her daughter and granddaughter looking for bargains at the thrift store and garage sales. She loved old westerns and murder mysteries. She was a loving pet mom to her dog Lucy, and 2 cats Delilah, and Blackie. Willia took pride in the relationship she had with her neighbors. The neighbors cared deeply for her and referred to her as the neighborhood grandma.  

She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Randy) Otis and Samantha (Chuck) Cribbs; son, Larry (Tammy) Williams. She was a loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Sammie Combee; and numerous other relatives and friends who all loved her dearly.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Rebecca Williams, Deana Harper, Danielle Olson, Samantha Cribbs, Keegan Barber, and the wonderful staff from Ohio Health Hospice for their loving support and help during the past 2 months and for the loving care they gave Willia.

There are no formal services scheduled at this time. Burial of her ashes will take place at a later date at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
